European survey finds that three-quarters of European establishments report the presence of at least one psychosocial risk

Today, the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) publishes its overview report of the second European Survey of Enterprises on New and Emerging Risks (ESENER-2), for which almost 50,000 establishments from 36 European countries were interviewed in 2014. The main topics covered are the management of occupational safety and health (OSH) in general, the management of psychosocial risks in particular and the participation of workers in OSH.

Joint winners of the Healthy Workplaces Film Award 2015 announced in Leipzig

This year, the Healthy Workplaces Film Award is awarded to two very different, and yet related, films, one an animated film and one a documentary. The winning directors are Alejandra Tomei and Alberto Couceiro of Germany for the animated film Automatic Fitness and Rita Bakacs, also of Germany, for the documentary Tagelöhner Syndrom (Work For One Day).

Heathy Workplaces Summit shows how to manage psychosocial risks at work successfully

The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) brings its 2-year ‘Manage Stress’ campaign to a close today at the Healthy Workplaces Summit 2015 in Bilbao, Spain. Over 300 delegates from across Europe reflect on the efforts made to raise awareness of and manage work-related stress and psychosocial risks since the campaign launch in April 2014.

European Week for Safety and Health at Work: let’s work together to manage stress!

The 2015 European Week for Safety and Health at Work, a highlight of the ‘Healthy Workplaces Manage Stress Campaign’, starts on 19 October. Events will be held across Europe to mark the occasion and put stress and psychosocial risks in the workplace in the spotlight. Outstanding examples of workplace stress management celebrated at the Good Practice Awards ceremony

On the eve of World Day for Safety and Health at Work (28 April), the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) holds its Healthy Workplaces Good Practice Awards ceremony in Riga, Latvia. The awards demonstrate the benefits of adopting good occupational safety and health practices and highlight leading examples of active management of stress and psychosocial risks in the workplace.
